I’m not just your typical therapist.
My skill set extends from clinical outpatient services to coaching, with many other products and services in between.
If you’re wondering if I’m qualified, the real question is, how qualified am I? I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia and North Carolina, a Licensed Independent Social Worker Clinical Practice in South Carolina, a Certified IFS and EMDR therapist, and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. I have provided clinical outpatient therapy as well as intensive in-home services.
In 2011, I founded Outspoken Counseling and Consulting to bring a fresh, culturally responsive perspective to therapy and coaching. In 2020, I created Diversity in Play Therapy, a movement to spark real change in the field by increasing cultural awareness and representation among healing professionals. I am also the host of the Diversity in Play Therapy Summit.
My commitment to improving mental health in our community runs deep.

This journey for me is all about continued learning. I am constantly refining my knowledge on therapy services and looking at data to delve into what’s working best for my clients. I also continually add to my therapeutic practice business knowledge. This gives me the resources to support, coach, and consult other professionals.

When clients work with me they reclaim who they really are in their career and business so they have the courage, confidence, and clarity to be unapologetic and authentic in every asset of their life. So many of my clients have started a business, become published authors, left feelings of overwhelm for feelings of empowered and unapologetic.
